If you’re wondering what I’ve done or where I’ve been when I was in Macau last week, you can expect that I again, had some extravaganza going on… o.0|

I learned how to make almond cookies!

I was there to get some fun... Hehehe.... 而我呢。。 是来搞搞震的。。 嘿嘿。。。

"Sifu" said, NO EYE SEE.... 师傅说“无眼看啊。。”

Was trying to capture myself with the Poker King poster.

Heeheeheee... Cookies!! You know what, I never thought that I could come here at all. I mean the movie scene.

P1200264

Let's see who else had ever come here. The famous chefs.

No doubt, Chui Heong's almond cookies are the most delicious of all you can find in Macau, even if compared with the famous ones like Koi Kei and Choi Heong Yuen.

Try this if you get to go to Macau. You'll be surprised. Especially if you get to try the almond cookies of the other few famous pastelaria.

Everywhere you go, you can see Koi Kei bakery or Choi Lan's face, he's the spokes person for Koi Kei. That's why Koi Kei is so famous.

Sis, I love the almond cookies shot! Especially those you make :)

Haha... I was fooling around with the cookies... Not really those that I made. =P

i love almost cookies too! great thing you learned it! =)

love those cookie and Portuguese Egg Tart at Macau

Wow! I think to learn how to make these cookies is a great experience!
I want to watch my Poker King DVD now! ^.^

Mich, Kenwooi: I was only pretending ler... If I really learned, might consider to open a bakery dy.. Hahahha...sure got business one.

M-Knight: Yeah~ Couldn't had enough of those..

Rafael: I wish I did learned... but not possible lar, that's their secret recipe! I was just fooling around in the shop, touched this and that, and see how the 'sifu' made the dough. Pressing the dough also needs skill, else the cookies won't be so delicious~ I've finished all the cookies...should have bought more... Aarrgghhh!!! You can go there and eat the fresh from oven one anytime since you're in Macau.. Cheap flight to Macau, I will go again, and I'll definitely go for Lord Stow's Portuguese Egg Tart in Coloane. Koi Kei's still cannot beat the founder. =) Can meet up then next time. You bring me to the churches.

hey cheryl, great post!! i haven't watched poker king - is the place like a tourist center now because of the film as in open to visitors? ooh and lovely portugese egg tarts.. tried from 2 diff places (can't recall where) on my day trip to macau.

lechua: You mean Macau or the shop? The shop seems to be too hidden for any visitors to discover. But I walked around the small and narrow roads so coincidently came to the shop!
